Ed Hailwood: Ed has never forgotten the feeling of listening to his first Frank Sinatra record, the Songs For Swinging Lovers album, while visiting a next door neighbor: “I was simply mesmerized by his voice.” Ed saw his first big band, The Eric Winstone Band, at Butlins, Bogor in 1964. Rod Taylor: A superb keyboard / vocalist for your delight and entertainment. Rod has played piano from early childhood and added guitar & cello later. In his early R & B band days he gained invaluable experiences supporting major recording artistes and developed a passion for vocals. Song-writing was a natural progression in the 1970s leading to management by famed Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, recording with Polydor and extensive BBC "Sound of the Seventies" appearances for John Peel and Bob Harris as well as playing major venues & concert tours. In recent years Rod has performed classic songs from the 60’s to date at dinner dances, weddings, birthdays, golf & yacht clubs, 5 star hotels, clubs, wine bars throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Germany, Switzerland & Middle East. |
